FAQ/Shipping

Julie was a former middle school teacher who (with the support and encouragement of her husband, Pete) is currently a work-from-home mom of two terrific kids, Sophie and Evan.

While she never missed grading papers after leaving the teaching profession, she did miss the creative outlet that it brought her, thus, The Note House was developed. Julie adores stationery and all that is related to it.  Her products are customizable to meet your personal style and needs.

Julie's favorite part of her job is getting to know her customers and making sure that they love their finished products.  If you do not see what you are looking for featured online, please ask!

What is your turnaround time?  All orders received, with the exception of stampers and embossers, are completed in-house, so turnaround is quick.  Please allow at least 3 to 5 days for your order to ship, although it is usually less.  Proofs, when requested, are usually emailed within 24 to 48 hours.  PSA stampers and embossers drop-ship from the warehouse, so please allow at least 10 to 15 days to receive your PSA product.

Do I need a PayPal membership to pay with PayPal?  Not at all.  PayPal is simply a secure method to allow online customers to safely pay by credit card through the internet.  Having a PayPal account just speeds up the process a bit.

Do you accept cash, checks, and money orders?  Yes.  If you prefer to pay by check or money order, your order will ship after payment is received and has cleared.  If you are a local Indianapolis customer and will be picking your order up in person, then cash is acceptable.

Will I be charged sales tax?  Indiana residents will be charged 7% sales tax as required by law.

Do you ship internationally?  Yes, but please contact us before checking out for additional international shipping fees.

What is your return policy?  Since we are unable to reuse or resell personalized products, returns are not accepted.  You are encouraged to enter all personalization information carefully because text is printed as it is received.  Naturally, in the event that a mistake is made by us, your corrected product will be promptly shipped to you at no extra charge.

How are your products packaged?  All items are stylishly packaged and ready for gift-giving!  Most products (note cards, invitations, announcements, notepads) will arrive in a clear cello bag and tied with a white raffia ribbon.  Labels and stickers come packaged in a clear resealable bag.  Gift tins are available for bookplates.

Can you send my order directly to a gift recipient?  Sure!  Just let us know in the "Special Requests" box for that particular product that it is a gift.  If you include a short message, a small gift card will be included in the package at no extra charge.
